School & Daycare Music Therapy

The incorporation of music therapy in schools will benefit the students by providing opportunities to develop in non-music related areas through the use of music activities. These areas may be related to social, emotional, physical, cognitive, developmental, behavioral, sensorimotor and other areas of need. In a group setting, the students will participate in a variety of activities including instrument play, therapeutic singing, movement to and through music and other related to goal areas deemed appropriate for the group using preferred music by the students.
